Thriller Sub-Genres

Thriller is a genre of literature, television and film. It's characterised as fast pacing, frequent actions and usually heroes versus villians. Futhermore, thriller includes numerous and sometimes sub-genres.

Thriller can include the following sub-genres:

Action thriller e.g. James Bond films
Crime thriller e.g. Seven
Drama thriller e.g. The Illusionist
Political thriller e.g. Agency
Psychological thriller e.g. The Talented Mr. Ripley
Spy thriller e.g. Mission: Impossible
Sci-Fi thriller e.g. Sunshine

There are many more different types of sub-genres but out of the lists above, I enjoyed watching action thriller and drama thriller movies. This is because, action thriller films often works against the clock and contains lots of violence and also it has lots of explosions and special effects. On the other hand, i enjoyed drama thriller films because it has a slower paced to it as audience get to see the characters' developed along with a plot twist.
